Arthur Rimbaud by Enid Starkie

Arthur Rimbaud, Enid Starkie

Rimbaud by Enid Starkie. This was the first truly comprehensive biography on Rimbaud. Some facts have since been challenged but I still love it because it was the first book I read in my independent study. I lent it to someone I went to college with and the entire summer I feared he would lose it. He did return it but the stress I felt made me realize I should never lend another treasured book again.
