Arthur Rimbaud translated by Wallace Fowlie

Arthur Rimbaud translated by Wallace Fowlie. This is the first copy I bought of Rimbaud’s poetry. It’s dog-eared, filled with notes, underlining, pen, and pencil. I have taken it to France at least three times.

  1. I agree, Goth Grammarist Girl, Professor Fowlie’s book is certainly the best Rimbaud translation I’ve read – and I’ve read quite a few. My Jean-Arthur collection isn’t anywhere as expansive as yours though. You’re a true Rimbaud fan!
    Al best wishes,
    Pete
